ELCC Municipal Briefs & FAQ pages

In 2023, Better Together partnered with Workforce Collective to develop regional Child Care in Crisis briefs. The project produced documents that included key facts and data on the workforce situation locally in various Ontario municipalities.

Project Summary

In 2022, six Municipalities partnered together to produce regional briefs. 1-page FAQ sheets were created for 6 communities with 4-page corresponding crisis briefs. The briefs contain data and research on the state of The ELCC Workforce in Ontario and in Canada highlighting many gaps and opportunities.

These "Child Care is in Crisis" briefings are an example of how the BT partners engaged a workforce resource to support New Narratives. The briefs became a springboard for conversation, subsequent BT design thinking labs and demonstrated how the sharing of municipal resources can produce greater shared outcomes.
