Better Together Presents: Edge Factor Learning Modules for students in K-12
In 2023 Better Together teamed up with Edge Factor to create The Early Childhood Education Badge which is designed to teach and inspire students in K-12 to consider what a career in Early Childhood Education can look like!
Project Summary
The Early Childhood Education Badge features story-driven career videos, real educators in action, and interactive tools that guide learners through the world of early childhood education. As students or job seekers complete the media and activities, they earn a digital badge to showcase their learning. It’s designed to help them explore this vital and rewarding career path with purpose and confidence. Are you a teacher wanting to implement Edge Factor learning but aren't sure if your school is participating? Reach out to your local school board guidance team to find out if they are accessing all the tools and learning on Edge Factor!
The Junior Badge is designed for students in Grades 3–8, and the Senior Badge is geared toward Grades 9 and up. Anyone interested can access the Ontario Skilled Trades Toolkit here: edgefactor.com/ontario-skilled-trades. Once they click “Get the Toolkit,” they’ll have access to the ECE badges and more!
The ECE Badges continue to be available through Edge Factor’s Ontario Skilled Trades Toolkit for both Free and Premium users. Educators can share the ECE Badge with their students, and students and job seekers can access the toolkit for free as well. Students and Educators can simply create a free account, watch the videos, and complete the interactive activities to earn the digital badge.
